We would also like to thank everyone came out to the May 19 stretch class and made it such a success! The Wellbeing Task Force hopes to offer another stretch class later this year.
We had three teams participate in Staff and Faculty Sports Day this year. Congrats to Craig Macfarlane, Kirt Stewart, Terrence Nimegeers, and Matt Litzenberger for taking this year's trophy home.
Welcome Connor and Blaine
Connor McGoran joins the Facilities Energy Team as an HVAC Efficiency Technician. Connor was born and raised in Kelowna but lived in Calgary while obtaining his Power Engineering Diploma at SAIT on a full scholarship. Now that he’s back in his home town, he enjoys the outdoors by spending his spare time fishing. He is plans to pursue a Bachelor Degree in Technology Management in the near future.
Blaine Foster joins Facilities as Maintenance Engineer from the Skookumchuck Pulp Mill where he was a Power Engineer. Blaine grew up in Picture Butte, Alberta and moved to Kelowna last April. He enjoys many outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, fishing and golfing, and now that he lives in the sunny Okanagan, he is looking forward to spending time at the beach.
