Putting our priorities into action – CORM Roadmap

Based on your feedback about what is needed to continue positive change, the leadership team has developed a draft strategic roadmap which outlines our priorities for the next 18 months. The roadmap will be presented on July 19th between 9:30 – 10:30am, and of course we encourage everyone to attend. From there, your supervisors will be engaging you further with the intent of finalizing the map before end of August 2018. Show up and help us get our 2018/2019 priority pathway right!

Let the solutions begin – new building proposal

One of the top priorities you identified was ensuring that your work environments include appropriate physical space, including meeting rooms, drop-down and breakout spaces, and storage. Based on your comments, we undertook an assessment of the spaces we currently own and what we will need going forward, and created an updated CORM building proposal to address future space needs. This proposal was submitted to Campus Planning and Development in June for siting of a potential building and to ensure that CORM has a voice in future discussions of space needs on campus.

Although the floorplan shown above is from the 2014 proposal, the 2018 written proposal has been fully updated and can be viewed in full online.

The written proposal is intended to address space needs for CORM in the long term. With the proposal complete, we can focus on short- and medium-term solutions highlighted in the roadmap. We look forward to hearing from you on July 19.

Sincerely,

Shelley Kayfish
Director, Campus Operations & Risk Management
