Communication is key: As part of our ongoing commitment to facilitating all-way communication, this bulletin was created to engage staff on key areas of interest and provide regular updates from all areas of  Campus Operations & Risk Management.

Uniforum @ UBC

This month, UBC will be participating in Uniforum, a data collection process that will help us better understand how to more effectively deliver core services and enhance the student and community experience.

As part of the process, the CORM leadership team will be seeking your input on how we spend our time, relative to the services we provide. The timeline to collect the data will be tight, so we will be counting on your help to meet our deadline and support our greater goal.

Welcome Michelle

Security Services is pleased to welcome Michelle Brown, who began her career as a Security Communications Co-ordinator on April 3. Originally from Vancouver Island, she has spent the last 5 years in Alberta, working most recently for Red Deer College. She brings with her a variety of experience in emergency services, administrative work, graphic design and marketing. She, her husband and 2 dogs are proud to call the Central Okanagan home.

CORM Town Hall

In a previous bulletin, we announced the CORM Town Hall, your chance to enjoy some refreshments, hear the results of December's budget presentations and other CORM updates, and ask questions of the leadership team. In consideration of everyone's busy schedules, we have scheduled the first Town Hall for the end of May.

Date: Tuesday, May 30
9:30-10:00am: Coffee break hosted by the Wellbeing Task Force
10:00-11:00am: CORM Town Hall

We look forward to seeing you there!

Sincerely,

Shelley Kayfish
Director, Campus Operations & Risk Management
